A wedding isn’t just a collection of moments. It’s one of the only times all your people are gathered in the same place, at the same time, for something that only happens once in that exact way. That’s something I’ve always appreciated. It’s not just about how it looks, but what it represents. Family, history, change, and the beginning of something built on everything that came before it. That perspective is what eventually led me into photography.

WHERE MY STORY BEGAN
Before photography, I was always creating in some form. Growing up in the Seattle area, I spent a lot of time drawing. My mom noticed early on and encouraged it, including suggesting I try drawing portraits when I was around ten.
That’s where a lot of my early creativity started.
Later on, I worked in a hospital setting in Kirkland, Washington. It was structured and fast paced, and it gave me a very real understanding of people, pressure, and presence in everyday life. Photography came into my life in 2021, and it felt like a natural shift. It brought together what I had been drawn to in different ways and gave it a place to exist more fully.
Images hold proof that love leaves a mark, and that even long after the flowers have wilted and the music has faded, your story lives on.

A wedding marks the beginning of something lasting. It’s the joining of two people and two families, and a commitment that carries real meaning beyond a single day. That’s why I approach this work with care and respect for what it represents. I’m not just documenting how it looked, but preserving what it meant as it was happening. The quiet weight of it, the connection between people, and everything that makes the day feel significant in real time.
